        University level students from abroad

        A total of 26 lessons of 45 min each/week:
            - 18 lessons in a group corresponding to levels
            - 8 lessons in themed workshops
        Self study at the University Multimedia Resource Center

        10 weeks
        From 30 June to 15 September 2008

        Courses will be held as usual on August 15th, bank holiday

            - Upper-intermediate level: 12 weeks
            - Intermediate level : 24 weeks
            - Beginner level : 36 weeks

  • To reach the B1 level required to enrol in the program below, previous intensive training in French can be undertaken during 2007 on a trimestrial or semestrial basis,
    or on a yearly basis for courses starting in 2006.

  • General improvement in French:
            - 15 different level groups are held at all times
            - 10 to 15 participants per group
              To accommodate specific groups : specialized French courses (scientific terminology,
              for example) can be held at request all year round.
  • Themed workshops
    Training in the techniques of University study:
    Note-taking procedures, writing syntheses and reports, theses, quoting techniques, training in public speaking.

        If a participant has fulfilled attendance requirements, a certificate signed jointly by CAVILAM
        and Blaise Pascal University in Clermont-Ferrand, along with a detailed evaluation of his ability
        in French, will be delivered at the end of the course.

        During your French course you can sit for:
            - The DEFL and DALF national exams
            - The TCF, TCF/DAP, and TEF level tests

           for higher education : 2520 €

        - Upper Intermediate level : 12 +10 weeks : 4940 €

        Including TCF electronic test of French language (www.ciep.fr/tcf/ )
