{"id":12883,"date":"2016-12-26T16:27:03","date_gmt":"2016-12-26T14:27:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.cavilam.com\/en\/?page_id=12883"},"modified":"2026-02-26T16:37:05","modified_gmt":"2026-02-26T14:37:05","slug":"terms-of-sale","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.cavilam.com\/en\/terms-of-sale\/","title":{"rendered":"Terms of sale"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"checklist tick3\">\n<li>Price validity: 1 January \u2013 31 December 2026.<\/li>\n<li>Enrolment in one of our courses implies acceptance of our general terms and conditions of sale.<\/li>\n<li>Courses are not held on the following public holidays:<br \/>\nJanuary 1, April 6, May 1, May 8, May 14, May 25, July 14, November 11, December 25, 2026.<br \/>\nThis does not give right to any refund, compensation or postponement.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>ENROLMENT<\/h2>\n<p>To enrol, you must:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"checklist tick3\">\n<li>Be at least 16 years old by the first day of the course (junior course programmes: 11 years old).<\/li>\n<li>Proceed to enrolment online on <a href=\"https:\/\/boutique.cavilam.com\/inscription\">boutique.cavilam.com<\/a> or send <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cavilam.com\/en\/enrolment\/\">the completed enrolment form<\/a> accompanied by the payment of the course and registration fees.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>CAVILAM &#8211; Alliance Fran\u00e7aise declines all responsibility for minors between 16 and 18 years old. A parental authorisation, duly completed and signed must be returned with the enrolment form. Minors aged 16 to 18 are systematically accommodated in a host family, on a half-board basis.<\/p>\n<p>Enrolment fees for all on-site courses: 98 \u20ac.<\/p>\n<h2>PAYMENT OF COURSES<\/h2>\n<p>The course and enrolment fees are due at the time of enrolment, in one installment.<\/p>\n<p>Payment by credit card (VISA, JCB, MASTERCARD or AMERICAN EXPRESS) can be done online at <a href=\"https:\/\/boutique.cavilam.com\/inscription\">boutique.cavilam.com<\/a> (secure payment) or by direct debit for an enrolment via our form.<\/p>\n<p>Payment by bank transfer (in euros), only possible through the enrolment form,<br \/>\nmust be done to the account of CAVILAM &#8211; Alliance Fran\u00e7aise:<br \/>\n<b><\/b>Bank fees are to be paid by the student.<\/p>\n<h2>CONFIRMATION<\/h2>\n<p>Upon reception of the full payment of the course and registration fees, you will receive by email (or by post on request):<br \/>\n\n<ul class=\"checklist tick3\">\n<li>A paid invoice.<\/li>\n<li>A certificate of enrolment showing dates of the training course.<\/li>\n<li>A certificate of accommodation with details of the chosen accommodation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\nThese documents may be requested for your visa application at the French Consulate. For short stays (less than 3 months), apply for a tourist visa.<\/p>\n<h2>ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE<\/h2>\n<p>Regardless of the chosen accommodation option, please arrange your arrival on the Sunday afternoon before the beginning of the courses and your departure on the Saturday morning after the end of the courses.<br \/>\nStudents are requested to inform us about their time and place of arrival as soon as possible to organise their welcoming.<\/p>\n<h2>INSURANCE<\/h2>\n<p>Each student is responsible for taking out their own insurance in accordance with the legislation of their country, covering illness, loss of money, valuables or luggage, theft, interruption of the course for personal or health reasons, and civil liability.<\/p>\n<h2>POSTPONEMENT AND CANCELLATION<\/h2>\n<p>Notice of any postponement or cancellation must be sent in writing to CAVILAM &#8211; Alliance Fran\u00e7aise.<\/p>\n<p>In the event of postponement by the student, the following fees will be charged:<br \/>\n\n<ul class=\"checklist tick3\">\n<li>Postponement 10 days or more before the first day of the course: 98 \u20ac.<\/li>\n<li>Postponement less than 10 days before the first day of the course: 98 \u20ac + cost of a one-week training programme.<\/li>\n<li>Postponement starting Friday afternoon (4:00 PM, Paris Time, UTC+2) prior to the first day of the course or once it has started: all course and registration fees.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>In the event of cancellation by the student, the following fees will be charged:<br \/>\n\n<ul class=\"checklist tick3\">\n<li>Cancellation 10 days or more before the first day of the course: 195 \u20ac<\/li>\n<li>Cancellation less than 10 days before the first day of the course: 195 \u20ac + cost of a one-week training programme.<\/li>\n<li>Cancellation starting Friday afternoon (4:00 PM, Paris Time, UTC+2) prior to the first day of the course or once it has started: all course and registration fees.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>CAVILAM &#8211; Alliance Fran\u00e7aise reserves the right to cancel courses which do not obtain a sufficient number of enrolments. Should this happen, you will receive a full refund of the paid amount.<\/p>\n<h2>MODIFICATION<\/h2>\n<p>Any change of any kind (programme, duration or accommodation) before or during the course will incur an administration fee of 98 \u20ac.<\/p>\n<h2>INTERRUPTION \/ ABSENTEEISM<\/h2>\n<p>In case of early departure or interruption of your stay, no refund will be processed. Without prior approval from CAVILAM &#8211; Alliance Fran\u00e7aise, no reimbursement, compensation or postponement shall be made in regards to student absences (hours, days, class periods).<\/p>\n<h2>INTERNAL REGULATIONS<\/h2>\n<p>If a student\u2019s behaviour is liable to have a disruptive effect on the classes or other activities provided (courses, accommodation, leisure activities) or to be damaging to the reputation of CAVILAM \u2013 Alliance Fran\u00e7aise, the student in question will be immediately expelled without prior notice and will not be entitled to a refund of the paid fees.<\/p>\n<h2>IMAGE RIGHTS<\/h2>\n<p>Unless otherwise informed by the student on enrolment, photographs of students may be taken by CAVILAM \u2013 Alliance Fran\u00e7aise and used for communication and marketing purposes.<\/p>\n<h2>CLAIM<\/h2>\n<p>Any claim should be addressed in a detailed letter to CAVILAM &#8211; Alliance Fran\u00e7aise, who undertakes to give the issue its full attention.
