Want to discover the capital of France while practising your French? The CAVILAM - Alliance Française is launching a new cultural offer: a weekend in Paris from Vichy. The programme includes historic monuments, picturesque neighborhoods, a perfume workshop, and free time for a total immersion in French culture. A CAVILAM – Alliance Française guide accompanies the group on this two-night trip.
A weekend in Paris from Vichy
The group leaves Vichy station by train on Friday at 5:00 pm, after classes. After a metro transfer from Paris Bercy station, you stay at the FIAP Jean Monnet residence in the 14th arrondissement. The return to Vichy is scheduled for Sunday around 9:00 pm.

Friday evening:
The illuminated Eiffel Tower
After checking in and having dinner at the residence, head to the Trocadéro esplanade for a majestic view of the illuminated Eiffel Tower.
Saturday :
Montmartre and the Sacré-Cœur
On Saturday morning, stroll through the picturesque streets of old Montmartre, known for its history and artistic soul. Climb the steps of the Sacré-Cœur, visit its interior and enjoy one of the finest panoramic views of Paris.
Relaxing in the Tuileries Garden
Have lunch and free time in the Tuileries Garden, between the Louvre Museum and Place de la Concorde.
A perfume experience at Fragonard
Visit the Fragonard Perfume Museum to learn about the history and secrets of perfume-making. Then create your own fragrance in a workshop and take it home with you.
Haussmann boulevards and Galeries Lafayette
Enjoy free time to stroll along the grand Haussmann boulevards, admire the Opéra Garnier and shop at Galeries Lafayette. Go up to the rooftop terrace for an impressive view of the city.
An aperitif on the Seine
In the evening, enjoy a very Parisian experience on Île Saint-Louis: an aperitif by the Seine as the city lights up at nightfall. It is the perfect setting to chat and practise your French.
Sunday :
Notre-Dame and Sainte-Chapelle
Discover two jewels of Île de la Cité: Notre-Dame Cathedral, a Gothic masterpiece more than 850 years old, and Sainte-Chapelle, the royal jewel box built in the 13th century by Saint Louis. You will visit one or both, depending on opening hours and crowds.
Latin Quarter, the Sorbonne and the Luxembourg Gardens
End your trip in the Latin Quarter, home to the city's historic universities. After lunch, enjoy free time in the Luxembourg Gardens.
