Cognitive science in practice
CAVILAM – Alliance Française's ‘Cognitive science in practice' module is all about understanding how the brain learns, in order to be the best possible educators we can be. This module blends theory and practice to help teachers use attention, memory and emotion in the classroom, drawing on advances in the cognitive sciences and breaking down all-too-common misconceptions about the brain.

6 hours and 45 minutes of classes spread over Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday afternoons during one week

The module explores what neuroscience can bring to education by deconstructing misconceptions about the brain and offering concrete applications of the science of attention, memory and emotion
