Teaching academic subjects in French

This CAVILAM – Alliance Française module, designed for secondary education teachers, works with educators to help them design effective bilingual education. ‘Teaching academic subjects in French (CLIL) ’ enables teachers to master the key principles they need, design appropriate lesson plans and use digital educational resources to promote student engagement across disciplines.
In person, on campus
Begins Monday; one-week duration
This module brings together linguistic and methodological refinement, study of teaching academic subjects in French, designing lessons and diversification of classroom practices
23 hours of class time, networking and collaborative exchanges
Group classes
Educators in non-linguistic disciplines ('CLIL' means 'bilingual education') and FLE teachers working in bilingual establishments
Secondary education teachers, a minimum of B1 level is recommended
